Currently, the most effective way to help is by volunteering your time, donating resources, or spreading awareness about our initiatives. Currently, we have not been able to set up a general union to support our workers direct struggle. Right now we're focusing on building a strong community and advocating for workers' rights through other means. If you're interested in helping us create a union or getting involved in our efforts, please reach out to us through our Contact page.
We welcome contributions to our blog from community members! If you have a story to share about your experiences with mutual aid, community events, or anything you think our neighbors should know about, we'd love to hear from you. Please email your story suggestions or drafts to stories@psma-wa.org.
Currently, our resources are limited due to our small start and lack of funding. Right now we have a focus on providing essential support to our community members often via providing weather-related supplies, food, and other necessities. However, we are actively working on building our resource pool through community contributions and fundraising efforts. We encourage anyone who has resources to share or ideas for how we can better support our community to reach out to us through our Contact page. We're always looking for ways to grow and improve our support for the community!
The best way to stay up to date with our group and events is by following us on social media and checking our website regularly. You can find us on Instagram and Facebook where we regularly post updates about our initiatives, upcoming events, resource updates, and ways to get involved. Additionally, we are working on launching a newsletter that will provide more in-depth updates and stories from our community.
Currently our main focus is on supporting the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area, but we are open to supporting community members from across the Puget Sound region over time. We are actively working on building our network and resources so that we can expand our reach and support more communities in need.
